Every cashew Cube Root sells is a whole kernel, in one of three grades: W180 jumbo, W240 large and W320 medium. We process them ourselves, from raw shell to sealed pack, so the grade on the label is the size in the container. Nothing is added: no salt, no roasting, no preservatives.

What is the cashew (kaju) price for 1kg?

Frequently asked questions

Which cashew is best to buy?

It depends on what the cashews are for. W180 is the largest grade, for snacking, serving guests and gifting. W240 is the all-rounder, large enough to enjoy whole at a lower price. W320 is the cooking grade, for sweets, gravies and baking where the kernel gets ground anyway. Cashew grades explained.

Is a 1kg pack better value than 500g?

Yes, the 1kg pack is the lowest price per gram in every grade. W240 works out to ₹140 per 100g in the 1kg pack against ₹148 in the 500g. An unopened vacuum pack stays fresh for six months and the container reseals, so buying a kilo costs nothing in freshness.

Why do cashew prices vary so much between sellers?

Grade and wholeness. A kilo of jumbo whole kernels and a kilo of splits are both sold as “cashews”, but one is the scarcest part of the harvest and the other is the leftover. Age is the hidden third factor: old stock is cheaper to sell and tastes flat. Every Cube Root pack is whole kernels, packed fresh.
